We welcome trans/nonbinary/gender diverse teens ages 15-18 as volunteer junior counselors. If you would enjoy an opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, and be a role model for younger trans kids, this position is for you

- Enthusiasm!
- A willingness to get silly and try new things!
- Commitment! We are looking for counselors who can commit to being present all 5 days of camp.
- No specific prior experience is needed 🙂
At Camp…
Junior counselors do many things, including…
- Arrive early to help set up and welcome campers
- Support campers 1-on-1 in arts, science, and other activities
- Co-lead small activities, based on your skills and interests
- Make sure all campers are included and having fun during recess
- Create materials and set up snacks
- Serve as role models for campers
- Grow as leaders in your community!
Training Retreat
SAVE THE DATE: July 12th, from 2-7pm
This year’s training retreat will include…
- Community building with other counselors
- What to expect at camp
- Mentorship training and leadership skill building
- A pizza party!
Junior counselors should be able to join us for all 5 days of camp. Junior counselors will also participate in a training retreat the Friday before camp. If you have a preexisting commitment requiring you to miss 1 day, let us know when you register. We are happy to provide documentation of volunteer hours served.
